    Chris Pitsiokos + Glitch Party

Chris Pitsiokos (1990) is a saxophone player, composer, and improviser from Brooklyn. Among others, he has collaborated with Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M, Tatsuya Yoshida, Wendy Eisenberg, Nate Wooley, Miya Masaoka, Paul Lytton, Peter Evans, Weasel Walter, Jaimie Branch. Dj Balli, Nicolò Masiero Sgrinzatto & Luca Maccioni HYPERSKATE + Glitch Party

DJ Balli, with Nicolò Masiero Sgrinzatto and Luca Maccioni, will present the world premiere of the performance HYPERSKATE, conceived starting from the In SkateBoredWe Noize! (2007) performative project.
HYPERSKATE is a hybrid multimedia performance that brings many elements into play: industrial conveyor belts, skateboards, skateboarders, lights, sensors, noises, and a mixer that processes the sounds produced by the many actions in space. HYPERSKATE is a microscope that enlarges the sound of skateboards, used for tricks or as transport, travelling at different speeds, producing sounds that are always new and different. The HYPERSKATE performance sees skateboarding as a courier of change and of horizontal participation, an action of temporary urban regeneration and, in the skateboarder’s performance, an (in)conscious eco-performative exercise.
Upon opening the concert, Riccardo Balli and Jacopo Buono will introduce the project with a talk titled “The sound of skateboarding as a soundmark of the metropolitan experience”.

Glitch Party featuring: Biagio Cavallo, Cosimo Fiaschi, Flavia Passigli, Tancredi Ricci, Leonardo Rubboli, Francesco Toninelli

    Max Eilbacher + Glitch Party

Max Eilbacher is a cross-media artist who works primarily with sound, video, and performance. His research in sound draws on the traditions of algorithmic composition, of musique concrete, and of avantgarde performance. Making use of these experiences, Eilbacher creates conceptual systems where synthesis and software environments, with high processing intensity, are structures with a compositional and sculptural form. The sonic construction of the social sphere, of the political sphere, and of the physical sphere is investigated by treating space, timbre, and perception as elastic and malleable parameters.

    FURT (Richard Barrett, Paul Obermayer)
Live music for the film Le avventure straordinarissime di Saturnino Farandola (The Extraordinary Adventures of Saturnino Farandola) by Marcel Fabre
    an event within Futura Digitalia

Oracle Column (Andrea Rusconi, Devid Ciampalini, Matteo Lenzi, Francesco Pellegrino)

FURT is an electronic duo founded in London in 1986 by Richard Barrett and Paul Obermayer. The dense and intricate musical forms of FURT are the result of a fusion of free improvisation and systematic composition. The two musicians mainly use concrete materials, sampled and processed sounds. The sound structures created by this duo are based both on the physicality and expressiveness developed by the performers and on the characteristics of the electronic medium being used. FURT is presenting the national premiere of a live sonification of the film Le avventure straordinarissime di Saturnino Farandola (The Extraordinary Adventures of Saturnino Farandola) by Marcel Fabre (1913).

Oracle Column is a multifaceted ensemble that combines psychedelia, ethnic music, and concrete music, and is inspired by the inexhaustible lifeblood of free jazz. Their music is made of electronic textures created with synthesizers and magnetic tapes, as well as a heterogeneous assortment of acoustic instruments. Oracle Column, created by Andrea Rusconi (electronic organ, synth, tapes) and Devid Ciampalini (synth, tapes, qanun), is also composed by Matteo Lenzi (vibraphone, tam tam) and Francesco Pellegrino (tenor sax , clarinet).
