FUBALINO! – Interactive sound installation for foosball

This interactive sound installation, created in the context of “FOOSBALL, Participative sound action for a plurality of foosball players and live electronics”, aims to plunge the listener into a constantly changing 360-degree sound landscape; the set is made of a foosball table that is “augmented” with sensors and microphones, and surrounded by loudspeakers. Those who make free use of the installation may choose different game modes which correspond to different sound environments, interacting with the live sounds of the game (knocks, thuds, shouts, voices) which are captured, processed, and re-emitted into the installation space.
