Caterina Poggesi (1974-2016) was an important artist and psychologist for the Florentine community co-founding the collective Fosca and collaborating with major institutions such as CanGo and Tempo Reale. This online performance pays tribute to Caterina involving a large group of speech and sound artists who have met her in life and during her professional career.
Drawing inspiration from the limitations of the digital network, but also motivated by welcoming and inclusive ideas which characterized her thinking, Tempo Reale and Fosca, as part of the Homeplaying project – remote musical socializing platform, launch a one-hour performance in which fifteen invited artists will be able to participate freely, entering and leaving without predetermined rules or mechanisms.
The only requirement will be to follow a “Poggesi Map”, a sort of verbal score that incorporates some of the keywords that emerged from the personal memory of each participant.
