“For some years now, Tempo Reale has begun a reflection on the safeguarding and promotion of the musical (and not only musical) heritage deposited in its archive. This reflects the Centre’s over thirty years of activity in musical production with new electronic technologies which, as is well known, presents serious conservation problems. Among the many projects recently activated regarding the archive (for example, the ClockClacked portal), today we are presenting a new initiative.

Ctrl+s | Conversations on the survival of electronic music is a cycle of video interviews, conceived and organised by researcher and scientific educator Federica Bressan and coordinated for Tempo Reale by Giulia Sarno and Luisa Santacesaria. It involves five artists who have collaborated with the Centre over the years – Marco Stroppa, Stefano Trevisi, Daniela Cattivelli, Gabriele Marangoni, and Adriano Guarnieri – who Bressan has involved in an intense dialogue on the problems and perspectives of the transmission of their works and practices, which are part of the vast constellation of electronic sound.”
