‘COSA È SUCCESSO?’, Open call with Saverio Lanza
Tempo Reale is promoting the project ‘COSA È SUCCESSO?’ (“WHAT HAS HAPPENED”), an impromptu musical direction blitz by composer Saverio Lanza, to be held at MAD Murate Art District, with participants to be found thanks to an open call.
What can arise from the Conduction sessions held with a group of professional, amateur, and beginner musicians of all ages, genres, and nationalities and who, despite living in the same city, don’t know each other? What will we discover from the recordings of these sessions? Will we manage to understand what has happened? ‘Cosa è successo?’ is mainly an investigation on reciprocal listening and respect, to manage to play with and within each other. This research will try to reply to this and many other questions.
The call is open to anyone who wishes to express themselves with an instrument or with their own voice, and no specific musical background is required. The sessions will be held on February 9, 16, and 23 and March 16 from 20:30 hrs to 23:00 hrs at MAD Murate Art District in Piazza delle Murate, 50122, Florence.
Collective experiment with free access.
Registration is required within the day before the session.
