ARIA | exploratory sounds and music
ARIA reaches its third edition! Two concerts under the banner of a pluralistic and open approach, filled with different instruments and languages, united by the exploratory spirit that has always distinguished Tempo Reale’s action. The presence of German composer Heiner Goebbels, in this case together with the performer Gianni Gebbia, is a cultural unicum of the greatest importance for the city of Florence; this is ideally contrasted by the Korean cellist Okkyung Lee,a musician-improviser of international renown, and by the electroacoustic improvisation ensemble BIG, an expression of an idea of collective music that is very much of this moment in time.
