An event within the LXXXII Festival del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino
Some of the most developed European experiences in new multimedia composition are now surfacing from Germany, and specifically from the Hamburg area where composers such as Schubert or Munterdorf conjure a strong innovative and compelling linguistic energy of how music is made, as picked up far and wide by all the most important festivals in the continent. Performing and giving shape to these works with crispness and spontaneity, young performer Carola Schaal, along with Heinrich Horwitz, will prepare a true spectacle of sounds, signs, and gestures of great sophistication and power. Tempo Reale’s Maggio Elettrico once again sets up its first part of programme as the exceptional peak of the most innovative musical research within the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Festival.
