Electroacoustic ensemble with the participants of the Conduction Elio Martusciello improvisation workshop
Over the years, Elio Martusciello’s improvisational and sound research methods have revealed themselves to be of ever-increasing interest to a number of musicians from various backgrounds. His type of conduction develops upon a language based on signals that indicate the sound events that are to be performed, always transforming and in motion. The musicians involved in the project have participated in an intensive workshop, characterised by its lack of verticalism and by an omnipresent attention to the idea of integration and collaboration between distant genres and sonic situations.
