FLUX (TRC08)

The concept of “flux music” finds a modern manner to recover certain key ideas which had already been used by the historical avant-garde experiences of the Sixties and Seventies to attempt to overcome an idea of music that was purely written or based on traditional dramatic mechanisms. The flow of sound is therefore considered as a moment of integration between an instant dramatization and a fixed structure, providing orientation to the listener: an “open” music that assigns the performer to a central and creative role within the concert moment. These works by Fantechi and Perciballi originated from a residence and research period which focused on these themes, within the FLUX – RESIDENZE MUSICALI project, created with support by Sillumina – Copia privata per i giovani, per la cultura; SIAE; and MiBACT.
